Jimmy Thomas, Doggie Paddie

Veteran and Rotarian Jimmy Thomas, member of the Rotary Club of Glenville, NY, will address our club on May 23. He recently completed a 4,000-mile journey in an effort to raise awareness for veterans who benefit from service dogs. The first 2000 miles of this trip was made by kayak down the intercoastal waterway, and his round-trip return was by bicycle over winter roads. Along the way, Jimmy spoke to communities about the organization he formed for this purpose called Doggie Paddle.
