Pamela DiSalvo Lepley, Senior advisor to the President of VCU and VCU Health System.
Pamela DiSalvo Lepley recently was promoted to senior advisor to the President of VCU and VCU Health System. In that position she is a member of the president’s cabinet and supports the President’s Office on a wide range of university and health system strategic issues, serving as a liaison for internal and external constituencies to help drive institutional priorities and projects.
Previously Lepley served as vice president for University Relations, the chief communications officer for Virginia Commonwealth University and VCU Health.
Lepley joined VCU in 2002 after serving as vice president and director of public relations at Siddall Inc., of Richmond, Va., where she developed and directed several award-winning strategic marketing and communications programs for a variety of national business and government clients. Formerly, Lepley was a departmental press secretary serving the governor of Pennsylvania. Before that, she spent more than a decade in broadcast journalism.
Lepley is the 2011 recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Award for Excellence in Public Relations and a 2015 inductee into the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame.
Lepley received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Public Administration degree from VCU.
