John Purnell Jr. and Charles Layman -Rotary Workforce Initiative

Club members John Purnell Jr. and Charles Layman will coordinate this project over the next two years with Deb Lawrence of ReWork our partner on this project. ReWork will recruit, train and place 10 residents from the East End of Richmond to prepare for work/career in the fields of healthcare and manufacturing. Participants ages range from 22-58. RCOR members will mentor program participants throughout this period. John is the former CEO of FRIENDS Association for Children https://friendsrva.org and Charles is the former CEO of Goodwill Stores of Central Virginia from which he has recently retired https://goodwillvirginia.org.
