Candace Blades is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Nursing and the University of Maryland School of Law where she took advantage of the school’s extensive healthcare law offerings. She practiced law for a number of years in a variety of settings, most healthcare related, then returned to a healthcare practice.

She has many years of critical care experience where she was privileged to care for patients in the midst of life’s most challenging situations and she feels strongly about supporting patients, their families and the care team through this difficult but sacred journey.
